BUT as it turns out, there may be a prior, more important need. A need that may set the stage for love to enter.
And it has to do with paying attention to the most neglected… and yet… the most important detail of our lives.
Do you know that you are breathing?
* Do you know HOW you are breathing? From the chest? rapidly? Slow? Sending air to the stomach area? with your nostrils totally clogged?
All the overachieving, exhausting, and outward tendencies we have, are burning our candle from both ends and leaving us with thinly spread energy. Sometimes not able to concentrate on what is really important to us.
The effects of the excessive right nostril breathing are all around us, as in:
– The backstabbing
– The cheating, the lying
– The end justifying any means
We know a lot about that one…
The LEFT NOSTRIL activates the more intuitive, calm, earthly, feminine qualities, it considers all options rather than just one, it is cooperative and cultivates rest, inspiration and creativity.
HERE IS WHAT YOUR BREATHING DOES WITHOUT TELLING YOU:
Each nostril is usually active, by itself, or at least in a more notorious way, for about 60 to 90 minutes.
Then there is a “changing of the guards“… that lasts for a precious 4 minutes (tops)
After those short minutes, the other nostril will open, and stay so for 60 to 90 minutes.
THOSE 4 MINUTES… IN BETWEEN… ARE PRECIOUS
If you ever find yourself calm and centered, out of nowhere, during the day, it might be you are at merging of the two breathing entrances, with both sides of your brain operating together.
You are at the threshold Where kundalini can be raised…
Where if you are sitting in silence, fruits can result…
Pay attention to your breath today.
Tell me what you find out.
